View from Mariscos Careyes

Here is the view from a small seafood shack. Great shrimp ceviche. That green house shows one example of the "Careyes Style" of architecture, which is stucco painted in bright light colors. Also, it has a thatch roof. You can see the gray structure on the right of the hill. It really looks like a rook chess piece. A gray turret exactly like a classic rook.

First drawing on vacation. And really first travel drawing ever. We're at El Caryes hotel 3 hours south of Puerto Vallarta. Pencil first, Then ink. Then erase pencil. Then color w/ watercolor pencils. It's like creating your own coloring book.
